iTWireTV talks to Delinea’s Wahab Yusoff about prescient cybersecurity advice

Just before the Optus breach, I asked Wahab Yusoff, Delinea’s Vice President for Asia-Pacific and Japan, about his assessment of the cyber threat landscape.

With what now seems like a cruel irony, Yusoff said managing access and identity are the two biggest challenges facing businesses, regardless of size.

He also notes that working from home and working from anywhere are not going away, making access an even more critical frontier. He also pointed out that while a CEO might be entitled to unlimited access, it was not best practice to have such access anywhere, anytime.

Yusoff says a big part of the answer is automation, including automating changes to access privileges when someone changes roles. He has more to say in the video interview.
