ARIES (March 21-April 19): “Choose the least important day of your life,” wrote Thornton Wilder, author of Aries. “It will be quite significant.” I recommend that you make these words your words for living over the next two weeks. Why? Because I suspect there won’t be any extremely exciting experiences ahead. The daily rhythm is likely to be routine and modest. You might even be tempted to get a little bored. And yet, if you dare to move your attention just below the surface of life, you will connect with subtle glories that seep through. You will become aware of wondrous and quiet developments taking place just out of sight and behind the scenes. Be vigilant for them. They will provide fertile clues to the sweet victories that will be available in the months to come.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20): “Every successful person I know starts before they feel ready,” said life coach Marie Forleo. Author Ivan Turgenev wrote, “If we wait until everything, absolutely everything, is ready, we will never begin.” Here is what educator Supriya Mehra says: “There is never a perfect time to start, and the more we see the beauty of ‘starting small’, the more we empower ourselves to start.” I hope that by providing you with these observations, Taurus, I have convinced you to dive in now. Here’s another quote from businesswoman Betsy Rowbottom: “There’s never a perfect time to take a big risk.”
GEMINI (May 21-June 20): Poet Ranata Suzuki writes, “There comes a time when you don’t care whether or not there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. You’re just sick of the tunnel.” That’s good advice for you right now, Gemini. The trick most likely to get you out of the tunnel is to recognize that you’re sick of the damn tunnel. Announce to the universe that you have gleaned the essential lessons that the passage through the tunnel has brought you. You don’t need his character building perks anymore because you’ve harvested them all. Please say it a thousand times soon: “I’m ready for the great outdoors.”
CANCER (June 21-July 22): In the weeks to come, your imagination will receive visions of the next chapter in your life’s story. These images and stories might confuse you if you think they illuminate the present moment. So please keep in mind that they are prophecies of what lies ahead. These are premonitions and preparations for the interesting work that will be entrusted to you in the second half of 2022. If you take them as guiding clues to your eternal soul, they will nourish the inner transformations necessary for you to welcome your destiny when ‘he will come. Now study this inspirational quote from the poet Rainer Maria Rilke: “The future creeps into us, so as to remake itself in us, long before it happens.”
LEO (July 23-August 22): “Remember that you will never reach a higher level than you set for yourself,” wrote author Ellen G. White. It’s true! And that’s why it’s so crucial that you set the highest standards you can imagine, maybe even higher than you can imagine. Now is a favorable phase for you to reach higher and see bigger. I invite you to visualize the best version of the dream you are working on – the most excellent, beautiful and inspiring form it can take. And then push further to imagine even more spectacular results. Dare to be greedy and outrageous.
VIRGO (August 23-September 22): Before Virgo-born Leslie Jones rose to fame as a comedian and actress, she worked at United Parcel Service and Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles. Her chance to be appreciated only came when the television show Saturday Night Life hired her as a regular cast member in 2014, when she was 47 years old. Here’s how she describes previous years: “Everyone was telling me to get a real job. Everyone was like, ‘What are you doing? You’re wasting your life. You’re embarrassing your family.’ Fortunately, Jones ignored the bad advice. “You can’t listen to that,” she says now. “We have to listen to each other.” Now I suggest you take the approach of Leslie Jones, Virgo.
LIBRA (Sep 23-Oct 22): “It takes a long dream to act great, and the dream thrives in darkness.” Author Jean Genet wrote this, and now I offer you his words as the seed for your horoscope. If you have been attuned to the cosmic rhythms, you have done what Genet described and you will continue to do so for at least another ten days. If you have not started this work yet, please do so now. Your success through the rest of 2022 will prosper as you spend time dreaming big in the dark now.
SCORPIO (23 Oct-21 Nov): “Cursed be those who feel the waves but can only express a few drops.” So says an internet proverb. Fortunately, this principle will not apply to you in the coming weeks. I expect you will be flooded with cascades of deep feelings, but you will also be able to articulate those feelings. Thus, you will not be cursed at all. In fact, I suspect you will be blessed. The stunts can indeed get rowdy at times. But I expect you to thrive amid the lush tumult.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22-Dec 21): “It takes a lot of experience to become natural,” wrote Sagittarius author Willa Cather. I’m happy to report that over the past few months, you Sagittarians have become more and more natural. You have sought out experiences that reinforce your authenticity and spontaneity. Keep up the good work! The coming weeks should bring influences and adventures that will greatly deepen your ability to be untamed, moving, and intensely yourself.
CAPRICORN (December 22-January 19): “I intend to live forever,” proclaims 66-year-old comedian Steven Wright, who then adds, “So far so good.” I offer you her joyous vision in the hope that she may inspire you to dream and plan for your own longevity. Now is the perfect time to fantasize about what you would like to accomplish if you had 90 or more years of life to create yourself. In other words, I’m asking you to expand your imagination about your long-term goals. Have fun imagining the skills you would like to develop and the qualities you hope to mature if you have all the time you would like to have. (PS: Thinking like this could magically improve your lifespan.)
AQUARIUS (January 20-February 18): “Stop insisting on clearing your head,” advised author Charles Bukowski. “Empty your fucking heart instead. This will be a great meditation to experiment with in the weeks to come. Please understand that I hope you clear your head as well. It is a laudable goal. But your primary goal should be to empty your heart. What would that mean? Purge all excuses and shame from your desires. Cleanse your tenderness of energy that tends to hold back or resist. Release your receptivity to be innocent and curious.
PISCES (February 19-March 20): “The winner will be the one who knows how to choose the right fights,” wrote author Jane Ciabattari. Heed his advice, please, Pisces. You will soon be offered chances to face several interesting fights worthy of your fine intelligence. At least one will technically be a “conflict”, but even that will also be a fruitful opportunity. If you hope to get the most potential benefit from it, you need to be selective about who you choose to hire. I recommend you focus on no more than two.
